This policy about the treatment of personal data (the “privacy policy”) describes how Mericon AS (the “company”, “us”, “our”, “we”) collects and processes the information you provide to us or that we collect via the company’s website, www.mericon.no (the “site”).

PURPOSE

The company is responsible for your personal information. All inquiries to the company must be made through the contact information listed under.
When you visit the site, we automatically collect information about you, e.g. about the type of browser you are using, what search terms you use on our website, your IP address and information about your computer to optimize conversion on your site, improving this and do targeted marketing.
When you sign up for our newsletter, send us an inquiry via our contact form or sign up for one of our events through registration forms, you agree that we can collect information about you, such as your name, address, e-mail address, phone number, food allergies and any other information we need to conduct meetings and activities.

The right for insight
You have the right at any time to ask us about what information we have on file about you, what the purpose of the registration is, what categories of personal data, any recipients of information, as well as information about its origin.

You have the right to get a copy of the personal data we process about you. For the delivery of multiple copies, we will charge a fee of NOK 100.00 each. Would you like a copy of your personal data, please send a written request, together with the identification that you are the current (copy of passport/driver’s license etc.)

The right to correct
You have the right to correct errors in your personal information in our file about you. If you become aware that there are errors in the information we have on file about you, please send us a written request with the corrected information.

The right to delete
You have the right to get some or all your personal information deleted, i.e. if you withdraw your consent to our records. To the extent that the processing of your information is needed, i.e. to comply with our statutory obligations, we are not obligated to delete the personal data.

The right to limit treatment for storage
You have, in some cases, also the right to limited the handling of your personal data to only consist storage, e.g. if you believe that the information we process about you, is not correct.

You have the right to have your personal data in a structured and machine-readable format and the right to transfer this information when we collect your personal information in connection with:

  • that you are giving your consent to the registration of the newsletter
  • that you are giving your consent to registration of activities and meetings

DELETION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

The information that we have collected regarding that you have given your consent that we may send you marketing by e-mail, SMS and post, we will delete if you withdraw your consent, unless we have the right to continue processing.
The information that we have collected regarding your subscription to the newsletter, we will delete if you send us a request about that. In all the newsletters you will have the ability to subcribe or unsubscribe. If a cancellation is made, we will automatically delete the data we have collected on you.
