Grenland is ready for more drug industry
The mayors in the Grenland Region in Norway have responded to The Norwegian Directorate of Health on a report related to the National Preparedness for Medicinal Products.
The goal of the mayors is to attract new enterprises related to the pharmaceutical industry and support already established pharmaceutical industry in the Grenland Region.
Currently there are two manufacturers of medicinal products sited in the region, Vistin and TPI Norway. Cody is an engineering company that develops, designs and builds custom tailored production equipment for the pharmaceutical industry and Mericon which provides consulting services within Regulatory Affairs, Marketing Compliance, Pharmacovigilance and Good Distribution Practice.
The Grenland Region has a leading position in Norway within the process industry, and this competence would be of great importance for the establishment of new pharmaceutical industry.
