At Mericon, we are very proud of our employees, and we want you to get to know our team. This time, meet our newest team member Ola Torseth, Adviser at Mericon.
- What is your role at Mericon?
As an adviser at Mericon, I work with compliance and quality assurance of both promotional and non-promotional material. I assess content against regulatory requirements and provide practical guidance to clients to ensure compliance and commercially viable solutions. What I find exciting is the number of different types of material I get involved with, regarding medicines and medical devices. I have already assessed general ads, roll ups, websites, leave behinds, educational material, disease awareness information, presentations, save-the-date, invitations, social media and more.
- What motivates you in your job?
Having colleagues I can bother at pretty much any time, involving important questions and some less important.
It also feels great to help clients in need.
- What is your dream project?
I like projects that combine regulatory requirements and marketing strategy in a way where I can navigate the complex regulations, keeping the clients’ needs a priority and finding practical, workable solutions together. Supporting clients who genuinely need guidance, tackling challenging regulatory questions, and contributing to high-quality communication is what excites me!
- What slogan describes you best?
Well, I have been quoted multiple times saying, “As long as I have my smoothie machine and speaker”, but that doesn’t really say anything. So, I’ll go with “It’s better to ask one question to many, than too little”.
- If you could live the life of someone else, who would it be?
Maybe one of Britts dogs. I think they got it pretty good.
